I thought that it was really interesting to learn that a lot of my friends did not have the same basic knowledge that I had. I thought that everyone grew up in the same school from grades kindergarten to eighth grade and then we all went to the same high school, unless the kid was sent to a private high school or some even moved away. I learned more in the first nine years of school than I learned in the last eight years. I learned about things like Harajuku fever and other types of things that made the different lands from far away seem so much closer because we knew about things that others did not know. I thought that we had to make a difference in the far away lands where people did not have a chance to make it out alive in the wild where they had no resources.
I knew that we were living in one of the most wealthy nations in the entire world but we seemed to be helping ourselves and not as many people from far away. I have heard a lot of people say that you will find the passion inside of you to find out what you want to do with your life and that many people never have the chance to find a passion for something in their life because they are too busy living just day in and day out. I could not live that way so I had to go out and find my passion and when I found it, I knew that I was really going to have a great life. I could not believe how lucky I was to be able to find something to love and do with the rest of my life, what a gift it was.
